Mayor Vico Sotto is now trending on social media because of the complete relief packages that are being distributed in Pasig City.

KAMI learned that the netizens are praising Vico again for his competence and leadership.

In a post on Twitter, a netizen posted the ayuda she received from the local government. She was surprised to see that it has complete basic necessities like food, vitamins, and toiletries.

“Grabe ang ayuda!! Kompleto!!” she wrote on Twitter.

Mayor Vico then replied to the netizen that they wanted to give complete packages to those under the localized enhanced community quarantine in Pasig to refrain the residents from going out of their houses.

“Para di na po kayo lumabas!!!” he said.

“Kung sumunod tayong lahat mas mabilis din po matatapos ang Localized ECQ sa inyo. Ingat po at God bless!” he added.

Due to the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases in Pasig City, some areas were placed under localized enhanced community quarantine starting July 19, 2020.

Vico Sotto is the son of veteran actress Coney Reyes and TV host Vic Sotto. Ever since he was elected as the mayor of Pasig City, he was praised by the public.

Earlier, Vico revealed that someone tried to bribe him with P2 million as grease money to speed up the approval of a business permit. However, he refused to accept it.

The Pasig Mayor also announced that the local government is planning to buy P1.2 billion worth of gadgets for public school teachers and students.
