Jimmy Bondoc posted a lengthy message on social media after the controversial closure of ABS-CBN on May 5.

KAMI learned that the giant network stopped its broadcast operations after receiving a “cease and desist” order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).

It can be remembered that the Filipino singer previously accused the said network of being a “snake pit where success is based on politics and sexual favors.”

In his recent social media post, Jimmy did not directly mention ABS-CBN but he put the word “closure” as the title of his lengthy message.

He said that he is praying for those who are affected by the current happenings in the country and that he believes the “giant” will come back again.

The singer also mentioned that a “giant” cannot be hurt, but he admitted that sometimes, a “giant” also needs to feel pain.

“Ipinagdadasal ko pa rin ang mga apektado sa mga kasalukuyang kaganapan. At sa totoo lang, palagay ko ay di magtatagal, magbu-bukas ulit ang palasyo ng higante. Ang panalangin ko lang talaga ay pagbabago. Sa sarili ko. At sa higante,” he wrote.

“Bihira ang may nagbabagong higante, dahil bihira masaktan ang higante… Maganda rin siguro paminsan-minsang masaktan. Maniwala man kayo o hindi, hindi ako masaya. Ang gusto ko lang gawin ngayon ay magdasal at humingi ng tawad para sa mga sarili kong pagkukulang. At sana, maturuan ko ang sarili ko na magpatawad. Yung tunay na pagpapatawad. At kumalimot,” he added.
