NCT sub-units

As mentioned above, NCT is a large boy group; that is why the 21 members were divided into different sub-units. These sub-units are based in different cities worldwide. NCT members age in each sub-units is between late teens to mid-twenties.

The group's first unit is called NCT U and it debuted in April 2016 with the digital singles The 7th Sense and Without You.

The second unit is called NCT 127. This sub-unit debuted in July 2016, along with their extended play NCT #127. NCT 127 currently has ten members: Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, WinWin, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan.

The third unit, NCT Dream, made its debut in August 2016 with the digital single Chewing Gum. This sub-unit is considered as a rotational group because the age limit for this unit is 19 years old - this means that when they turn 19, the current members will be graduating from the unit. Currently, this sub-unit has six members: Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Chen Le, Jisung, and Jaemin.

The fourth unit is called WayV and is based in China. WayV was the first sub-unit in NCT based out of Korea. WayV debuted in January 2019 with the single album The Vision. Right now, it consists of 8 members, including Kun, Ten, WinWin, Lucas, Xiao Jun, Hendery, and YangYang.

Although NCT members personality differs from each other, their love for music and for their fans unites them altogether whenever they are on stage.
