In a report by New York Post, young figure skaters Angela Yang and Sean Kay and their coach Alexandr “Sasha” Kirsanov were all aboard the passenger plane.
The adorable ice skating partners were members of the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club. They went to Wichita, Kansas last week to attend the National Development Camp where young promising skaters receive training, the same report stated.
According to ABC News, Coach Kirsanov and his wife, Natalya Gudin, coached the two young figure skaters. The couple decided Kirsanov would fly to Wichita to accompany the youngsters.

Apart from that, according to a news article by Reuters, Senator Maria Cantwell confirmed casualties included citizens from Russia, Germany, and the Philippines. US Figure Skating confirmed that several skaters were on the American Airlines regional passenger plane.
