Reflecting on how fast her daughter is growing, Cheska admitted that she often wishes life would slow down.

"My dearest Kendra, It feels like we just celebrated your 16th birthday, and here we are celebrating your 17th. Time has wings, and sometimes I just wish it would slow down a bit," Cheska wrote.

The celebrity mom looked back fondly at Kendra's younger years, mentioning how much she misses her "chubby cheeks," her tiny voice, and their quiet afternoon snuggles.

"Kendra, I hope you never change," Cheska even told her daughter,

Despite Kendra being much taller now, Cheska expressed her gratitude that their mother-daughter bond remains as strong as ever.

"I'm so glad that even though you're all grown up, you still let me kiss your cheeks over and over again. You still let me hug you... You still sit on my lap, snuggle with me, watch all the chick flicks, giggle, be so kilig, and talk about anything and everything under the sun," she shared happily.

Cheska went on to praise Kendra's stellar traits, calling her a goal-oriented, hardworking, and deeply spiritual young lady who holds her family close to her heart. She reminded her daughter to never compromise her values as she continues to face the world.
