In an earlier report by KAMI, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) was said to be examining around 40 luxury vehicles allegedly linked to the family of Sarah Discaya. The probe reportedly stemmed from a viral interview in which Discaya showcased their collection of high-end cars, prompting authorities to take a closer look. As part of the investigation, importation records are set to be reviewed, with particular attention given to identifying the listed consignees to determine whether there were possible violations. Discaya has also been linked to contractors involved in flood control projects that are currently under scrutiny by the Senate. More recently, reports confirmed the death of former Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Catalina Cabral. DILG said autopsy showed death caused by blunt trauma.
