Three women were injured after they were attacked by a man while walking near Porte de Clichy in Paris, France, on Monday.

According to a report by GMA’s Unang Balita, the man was seen walking along the street while carrying two knives. The video showed him holding one knife in each hand as people nearby tried to warn others about the danger.
The person who recorded the incident said the man had already attacked a woman before the footage was taken. This prompted the uploader to shout and alert those who were about to cross paths with him.
The suspect continued walking through the area while people kept their distance. Civilians eventually managed to corner and restrain him before he was taken into police custody.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said the three victims were 19, 24, and 36 years old. Two of the women suffered serious injuries, while the third was also hurt in the attack, according to reports.
The suspect was reportedly carrying two kitchen knives during the incident. An off-duty police officer later arrested him after civilians helped prevent him from leaving the area.
Nuñez recognized the officer’s actions during the arrest.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the suspect’s identity. His statements during the arrest were also described as unclear, making it difficult for investigators to immediately establish details about him.
The reason behind the attack remains unknown. French authorities are continuing their investigation to determine what led to the incident.
France’s national anti-terrorism prosecutor is also reportedly reviewing the available information to determine whether there is enough basis to open a formal investigation. However, authorities have not announced any confirmed motive connected to the attack.
Police have yet to release further information about the suspect or possible charges against him. Officials are also expected to continue gathering statements from witnesses and examining video recordings from the area.

Meanwhile, A 46-year-old motorcycle taxi rider was allegedly killed by his own passenger after being stabbed with an ice pick in Caloocan early Tuesday morning. The suspect also allegedly stole the victim's motorcycle before fleeing, according to a report on GMA News' Balitanghali. The victim had reportedly dropped off his passenger in Kaunlar Village, Barangay 20, Caloocan, at around 1:30 a.m. Moments later, the passenger allegedly attacked the rider by repeatedly stabbing him in the side with an ice pick.
