According to Robin, he will focus on changing the Philippines’ form of government from a unitary presidential government into a federal form of government.
The action star said that he will do his best to highlight the advantages of adopting federalism in the country. He believes that federalism is the key to minimizing corruption and allowing the different provinces and regions to flourish, which would then lead to better lives for normal Filipinos.

Furthermore, Robin said that he is not allowing businessmen, contractors, and wealthy people he has no personal connection with to donate money to his campaign so that he will not be chained to those people’s agenda. However, he allows personal friends and his wife Mariel Padilla to donate to his cause.
Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin will run for senator in the 2022 Elections.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
