VP Leni Robredo, nagsalita na tungkol sa "bayaran issue" sa Cavite grand rally: "Wala kami pambayad"

- She explicitly said that there was no payment whatsoever since they don't even have money to do that, besides, they would not do that

- The Vice President also said that she feels sad that they had to resort to such actions

Vice President Leni Robredo, in an interview with the Kandidatalks Go Negosyo Forum, which was in collaboration with ONE News, VP Leni Robredo, answered the accusations that were hurled by Cavite 7th District Rep. Boying Remulla, saying that the attendees of the Cavite grand rally were paid P500.

"Wala din kami pambayad at hindi namin yun gagawin, kasi kung magbabayad kami ng mag-aattend sino yung niloloko namin di ba, sarili din namin yung niloloko namin. Mas mabuti yung organic yung pumupunta dahil yun yung naa-assess mo kung gaano ka kalakas."

"Pero ako nalulungkot ako na magre-resort sa ganito, na hindi pinapahalagahan yung dignidad ng mga taga-Cavite. VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters.

VP Leni Robredo took to Twitter and personally thanked the wife of the driver of the motorcyle who brought her to the grand rally in Cavite. Replying to the tweet of Kristine Danica Mariano, she even said sorry for having used their motorcycle, as it was brought about by such great need. She then reiterated her thanks and told Kristine to tell her husband, Sherwin, that she says thank you for bringing her safely to the venue. In response, Kristine thanked VP profusely and even said that it was an honor for them to be of service to VP.

The wife of the driver of the motorcycle, which VP Leni rode going to the Cavite grand rally took to Twitter to express her thoughts on the event. She said that her husband is still feeling "kilig" and she was also quite anxious that their motorcycle was dirty. "Nakakahiya," she mentioned, perhaps thinking had they known VP Leni will ride it, they could have cleaned it up. Nonetheless, she really thanked VP for the honor of having used their motorcycle .
