Cavite Provincial Board Member Kerby Salazar, the organizer of the grand rally of VP Leni Robredo in Cavite, categorically denied the accusations hurled by Rep. Boying Remulla, insinuating that the 47,000 attendees of the grand rally were paid P500 each.

According to Salazar, in an interview with DZRH, no one was paid P500 to attend.

Aside from denying, he also stated that he does not have P23 million, which is the total sum of the money needed to pay the 47,000 attendees with P500 each.

It can be recalled that on the day after the Cavite grand rally of VP Leni's camp, Rep. Boying Remulla had an interview and said that the attendees were paid P500 each.

"Sa siyudad ng Cavite, may politiko na nagbabayad ng limang daan sa bawat aattend. Tapos may jeep, tapos meron silang staging area, may t-shirt, may uniporme, kumpleto. Kaya alam mo na hindi indigenous kasi naka-uniporme. Hinahakot eh."

"Kagabi ginastusan nila 'yun, siguro mahina-hina ‘yung mga anim hanggang walong milyon. Kasi nga desperado na. Kasi ang survey sa Cavite, 64-15."

VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters.

VP Leni Robredo took to Twitter and personally thanked the wife of the driver of the motorcyle who brought her to the grand rally in Cavite. Replying to the tweet of Kristine Danica Mariano, she even said sorry for having used their motorcycle, as it was brought about by such great need. She then reiterated her thanks and told Kristine to tell her husband, Sherwin, that she says thank you for bringing her safely to the venue. In response, Kristine thanked VP profusely and even said that it was an honor for them to be of service to VP.

The wife of the driver of the motorcycle, which VP Leni rode going to the Cavite grand rally took to Twitter to express her thoughts on the event. She said that her husband is still feeling "kilig" and she was also quite anxious that their motorcycle was dirty. "Nakakahiya," she mentioned, perhaps thinking had they known VP Leni will ride it, they could have cleaned it up. Nonetheless, she really thanked VP for the honor of having used their motorcycle.
