Investigators are now working to establish the events leading up to the gunfire and identify those responsible. One of the steps being taken is to trace possible closed-circuit television (CCTV) recordings from nearby establishments and surrounding areas that may have captured the shooting or the suspects' movements before and after the incident.

Such footage could help investigators determine how the assailant approached the victim, whether anyone else was involved, and what route the suspect may have taken when leaving the scene. However, authorities have yet to confirm whether any available recordings have yielded significant leads.

The killing has raised questions among the victim's family, who have yet to learn why the businessman was targeted. Police have not publicly identified any suspects or announced possible motives connected to the case.

The Malabon Police, which is handling the investigation, declined to provide a statement while inquiries were ongoing.

Authorities are expected to continue gathering evidence and examining available surveillance footage as they work to establish the motive and identify the gunman.
