"Trip lang po. Tinanong niya raw po 'yung mga bata, ‘Mga taga-saan kayo?' Magsasalita pa lang po 'yung anak ko, binaril niya na agad eh," the grieving father shared in an emotional interview with GMA News.

He issued a direct plea for the suspect to surrender, adding, "Sukuan niya na lang po. Sukuan mo na lang, huwag mo na kami pahiraparang para matahimik lang din kami pare-pareho pati 'yung anak ko."

The tragedy dealt a devastating double blow to the household. Aside from losing their beloved child, the family was left utterly helpless as the boy's mother was simultaneously bedridden and fighting severe health complications in another hospital room.
