Eid’l Adha or Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant celebrations in Islam, observed worldwide by millions of Muslims. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, highlighting deep faith and submission.

Robin Padilla, born Robinhood Ferdinand Cariño Padilla, is a prominent Filipino politician and former iconic actor who currently serves as a member of the Senate of the Philippines. Long celebrated as the "Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema" for his legendary career in action films, he transitioned seamlessly into public service by topping the 2022 senatorial election with over 26 million votes.

Recently, Sen. Robin Padilla explained why he accompanied Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa after the May 13 Senate shooting incident caught on CCTV. He said there was no obstruction during their exit and no local warrant against Dela Rosa. Padilla added that Dela Rosa simply had no vehicle and later transferred to his own in Makati. He also criticized the DOJ for labeling Dela Rosa a “fugitive” and emphasized respect for local legal processes over the ICC warrant.

In a previous report, Robin is pushing to abolish Senior High School and restore a 6-4 system, citing the financial burden on families and rising dropout rates. The proposal comes after CCAP comments questioning the employability of SHS graduates in the BPO sector.
