In a report by Katrina Son on 24 Oras, DJ Mogo, whose real name is Sylvain Hernandez, shared that the track was created with help from his wife and inspired by Visayan rhythms.

“The traditional and super fun cha-cha feeling from the Visayas really stuck with me, actually,” he said.

Despite the song’s success, speculation surfaced online claiming that AI tools were used. DJ Mogo firmly denied the allegations.

“No any part of the song was generated by AI,” he stressed.
“Authentic, 100 percent made with my hands and my love for the Philippines.”

He encouraged listeners to focus on the music itself.

“I just want the people to focus on the music itself,” he said.
“If you like the beat and the energy, then tara lets dance on it.” 💃

The issue comes amid growing concerns about AI-generated content in the music industry.

Pablo of SB19 described AI as a powerful tool but warned about misuse.

“Siguro po, not at the expense of 'yung ninanakaw na 'yung identity ng mga artists,” he said.

He added that using artists’ work without permission is unethical.

“For these software or companies to use it without their consent, I think it’s very unethical,” he explained.

In a related development, authorities from the Bacoor Component City Police identified the man seen in a viral video trying to open a vehicle as Joel Viola Matados. Police said Matados, who lives in General Trias, may be dealing with a medical condition. His family explained that he had left home earlier that day and appeared disoriented during the incident. Motorist Lorie Sy described the tense moment, saying, “I stayed locked inside my car while he repeatedly pulled on my door handle in the middle of traffic.” Authorities urged the public to share any information that could help locate Matados so he can receive proper medical attention. Local health officials are now working closely with police to ensure he gets appropriate care once found. 🚓

In a separate operation, agents from the National Bureau of Investigation in the CALABARZON region rescued 10 individuals from an alleged abusive situation at a resort in Laguna on February 19, 2026. The operation came after weeks of surveillance and led to the arrest of a male suspect accused of exploiting victims through social media to arrange illegal transactions for profit. The suspect remains detained without bail and is facing multiple charges under the Anti-Traffic*king in Persons Act and the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. Authorities stressed that the case highlights the importance of vigilance from both law enforcement and the public to safeguard vulnerable individuals and hold offenders accountable.
