The victim was thrown off the road due to the strong impact and was left lifeless on the ground.
ccording to a report from GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, the accident occurred along the national highway on Santiago-Tuguegarao Road in Barangay Burgos.
Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck, which was heading toward San Mateo, Isabela, fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Witnesses failed to catch the vehicle’s plate number, but investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage in hopes of identifying and locating the suspect.
The victim’s relatives have yet to issue a public statement regarding the incident.
Police assured that steps are already being taken to track down the driver. The case has once again raised concerns about hit-and-run incidents and the growing need for stricter road safety enforcement in the region.
