Tila nabigla si Sen. Jinggoy Estrada sa biro ni Sen. Rodante Marcoleta sa kanya. Nitong araw lang, ipinagpatuloy ang pagdinig kaugnay ng mga alegasyon sa flood control projects.

Habang tinatanong nila si Curlee Discaya, asawa ni Sarah Discaya, nagtanong si Sen. Jinggoy kung may senador bang kasama sa listahan ng mga umano’y kumukuha ng porsyento sa mga proyekto ng kanilang kompanya.

Mabilis itong sinagot ni Curlee at sinabi, “Your Honor, wala po.” Kasunod nito, biniro siya ni Sen. Marcoleta at sinabing, “Safe ka na.”

Nagtawanan ang mga nasa hearing ngunit halatang hindi natuwa si Sen. Jinggoy sa naturang biro.

"You know, I resent that statement Mr. Chair. I resent it," sagot ni Sen. Jinggoy. "Mr. Chair, I move that you strike off the record that statement."

Agad rin namang sinabi ni Marcoleta na ito ay biro lamang.

Matatandaan na pinakilala niya rin bilang "The Bad One" si SEn. Jinggoy samantalang "The Good One" naman si Sen. JV Ejercito.

In a previous report by KAMI, contractor Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II, husband of Sarah Discaya, released a list of several congressmen and DPWH officials who allegedly asked for money in exchange for projects. He said their company had no choice because if they did not comply, the contract would be delayed or canceled. According to Discaya, the officials allegedly demanded 10% to 25% of the project’s value. He also named several DPWH officials who were allegedly involved in the flood control project anomaly.

Additionally, Korina Sanchez-Roxas recently posted on her Instagram account. There, she posed in front of a beautiful palace while she was in Disneyland. However, she also made fun of it in relation to the recent issue involving her. She wrote in the first part of her post, "My P10 Million Palace," which was somehow related to the allegations thrown against her by Mayor Vico Sotto.
