“My life saver today,” Kara began, explaining that she had an event scheduled in Makati but accidentally left her blazer at her home in Quezon City. “May event ako sa Makati, tapos nakalimutan ko blazer ko sa Quezon City,” she wrote, emphasizing how essential the blazer was to complete her professional look for the occasion.
Kara went on to highlight the character of her rider, whom she described as exceptionally kind. “Mabuti na lang ang bait ng aking na-book na delivery rider,” she added, showing how the rider’s willingness to help went beyond just completing a delivery—it was about offering reassurance in a moment of panic. She then directly thanked him by name, saying: “Salamat sir Christian Montealegre sa mabilis na paghatid ng aking blazer kahit super traffic! Whew!” Her words also underlined the challenges faced by riders daily, with heavy traffic as a constant obstacle, yet Christian still managed to deliver with efficiency.
To capture the moment, Kara shared a selfie with the rider himself and another selfie with her blazer. The event was none other than Patas Palatastas: National Summit on Fair and Progressive Advertising Self-Regulation 2025, a significant gathering where Kara’s presence mattered.
Kara’s post resonated with netizens, as her story served as a reminder of how seemingly small acts—like rushing a forgotten blazer through traffic—can have a big impact. It also underscored the value of treating service workers with respect and gratitude, especially in a fast-paced city where their efforts often go unnoticed.
