CCTV footage showed the victim wearing black and appeared to be waiting for a vehicle.
Another Korean national joined him, and shortly after, a motorcycle with two riders stopped beside them.
The passenger of the motorcycle, who was carrying a gun, got off and announced a robbery.

In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the suspect managed to get a bag, but still ended up shooting the Korean in a black shirt.
The suspects quickly fled the crime scene while the companion of the victim tried to aid the shot victim.
According to some eyewitnesses, the Koreans came from a spa and were already on their way home when they were robbed.
Residents also offered to bring the victim to a hospital, but the Korean refused and hoped for an ambulance to arrive.
The victim, who turned out to be known in the area, died while waiting for an ambulance.
Angeles City, especially in areas like Korea Town along Friendship Highway, has become home to many Korean nationals.
Over the years, the city has seen a rise in Korean-owned businesses such as restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, schools, and language centers.
Many Koreans live there for business, education, or retirement. It’s one of the most well-known Korean hubs outside Metro Manila.

According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
