“Dahil lang sa ilaw sabi ng isa sa mga witnesses natin, nagkasagutan sila dahil itong isa sa mga biktima pinapatay-sindi yung ilaw so dahil ang isa sa mga CICL natin ay ahead ng isang taon, probably he felt we were assuming that he felt offended at nagkaroon sila ng sagutan,” sabi ni PSSg Maliclic.
Maliclic added that the other victim was only at the school to pick up his cousin when they were both suddenly and unexpectedly attacked.
“Inatake sila suddenly and unexpectedly unang tinamaan yung isa sa mga victim natin (pinsan na nagsundo lang) sa left neck niya lateral neck so naitakbo siya sa hospital but he was… pronounced dead,” ayon kay PSSg Maliclic.
The other victim, who had the confrontation earlier, was also taken to the hospital but died shortly after.
Two of the suspects—14 and 16 years old—were not in school that day. Police believe they only came to back up their friend.
“Wala naman silang pasok. In fact, magkakaiba sila ng grade level. Magkakaiba din sila ng edad. Sila ay magkakakilala lang na nakatira sa isang lugar,” sabi pa ni Maliclic.
