A shocking video of a man clinging to the back of a moving taxi along EDSA in Pasay has gone viral, leaving netizens both stunned and concerned.

The footage, aired on Frontline Pilipinas, showed the man precariously holding onto the vehicle's trunk as it sped along the busy highway.
According to reports, the incident began when the taxi, en route from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Novaliches, got stuck in traffic at EDSA Aurora in Pasay.
Seizing the opportunity, the unidentified man climbed onto the back of the taxi without warning.

The taxi driver, fearing that the man might damage his vehicle or attempt to break the rear glass, chose not to confront him.
Instead, he continued driving, hoping the man would eventually get off.
As the taxi approached EDSA Ayala, where Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) personnel were visibly stationed, the man voluntarily let go and disappeared into the crowd, avoiding any confrontation with authorities.
The MMDA has yet to issue an official statement regarding the bizarre incident.
Meanwhile, the video continues to circulate online, sparking discussions on safety concerns and the potential dangers of reckless behavior on major thoroughfares.
Authorities are urged to address security measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

According to a report by GMA Regional TV News, the 77-year-old male died while his 66-year-old wife suffered injuries. Reports also state that the 77-year-old male was identified as a manager at an agri-machinery company. Investigators say that the two were tailed by motorcycle-riding gunmen and when they got to a certain, they opened fire, fatally injuring the 77-year-old male and inflicting injuries to his wife.
