- In a report by Cyril Chaves in GMA Regional TV One Mindanao yesterday, Tuesday, the little girl was even rushed to the hospital by her relatives for immediate medical attention

- Sadly, despite their efforts, the poor victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital

According to the report, the alleged suspect told the doctors that the little girl slipped in the bathroom.

However, they were doubtful of what the mother of the victim said because there were no injuries showing that the victim really had slipped.

According to the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of Puerto Police Station, the mother of the victim eventually admitted that she strangled her daughter.

Meanwhile, the aunt of the victim said that the 1-year-old kid of the suspect would've been put in danger if they didn't immediately see the strangled 4-year-old girl.

In an interview in her detention area, the suspect said she did it because of extreme anger. According to her, it's because she hadn't spoken to the father of her children who was in Cebu City for days.

She also said she deeply regretted what she had done to her own daughter and admitted she wasn't thinking straight when she committed the crime.

The suspect will be charged with parricide and violation of Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination (RA 7610).
