A video of a security guard using a megaphone at the Philippine Arena is making its rounds on social media due to his hilarious advice.

On the Instagram page of @nerisasocito, she posted a video of a security guard talking about people wanting to purchase a new item.

In the viral video, the security guard told everyone that they should just let their gadgets be lost and take it as a chance to buy a new one.

"Uulitin ko po, dun sa mga gustong-gusto nang makabili ng bagong gadget, ito na po yung pagkakataon niyo. Hayaan niyo nang mawala yang mga gamit niyo at pagkauwi niyo, opportunity na yan, bili agad ng bago," the security guard told everyone at the arena.

Eventually, the video made rounds online, with the post earning over 439,000 views on the app.

In the comment section, many netizens laughed at the security guard's 'reverse psychology.'

"Grabe, napaka-witty talaga ng mga manong guard," a netizen wrote while another one said, "Eh yung na-reverse psychology ka ni kuya kasi oo nga naman, baka yun na sign mo HAHAHAHA."

"Dun tayo kay Manong Guard na nagbibigay ng sign," another one even wrote in the comments

This is not the first time a local video went viral in the Philippines, specifically on social media.

Back in March 2024, a video of a newlywed couple went viral, earning over 11 million views on TikTok after the groom stunned the priest.

Meanwhile, in July 2024, a video taken from a local eatery also stirred buzz after their unique rule of asking for extra rice made people laugh.
