A man was arrested for stealing two cases full of empty soft drinks from a store in Cebu City. The suspect was also robbed when he left the bottles on the side of the road and another man took them away.

In a report by GMA Regional TV, which was also reported by John Consulta on 24 Oras Weekend this Saturday, the suspect can be seen taking away the cases, before loading them one by one into the cart before leaving.
The man was arrested after the owner of the store went to the authorities.
The man has denied the allegations that were hurled against him.

The suspect was brought to the barangay for investigation, so he first left the cases on the side of the road.
But when authorities returned to the cart, the stolen bottles were gone after another man took them.
The search continues for the man who swept away the bottles.
Meanwhile, complaints are being prepared against the apprehended suspect
In a separate report, a 48-year-old man was arrested in Baseco, Manila on Friday, at 10:30 a.m., after locking his mother and daughter in the truck he was driving for three days.
According to PLtCol. Emmanuel Gomez, station commander of Baseco Police, the incident happened in July 2024 in the area after the accused suspected that his wife had another man.
"Sa isang restaurant pa lang po, nagkaron na sila ng pagtatalo dahil... nakakita ho ata ng something sa cellphone ng kanyang asawa, kung saan nagkaron ng selosan at umabot sa di pagkakaintindihan," said PLtCol. Gómez.
