“Siyempre masakit sa akin wala ako magawa, ni hindi ko naman nasaklolohan yung anak ko,” said the mother.
In the CCTV footage provided by the woman to GMA Integrated News, it can be seen that the nanny bathed the baby at around 9:39 a.m. in the bathroom.
But just a few moments later, the baby’s loud cries could be heard. It was several minutes before the nanny and the baby came out of the bathroom.
Even though the nanny and baby were already in the living room, the child continued to cry.
But the woman only found out what happened to her child at around 3 p.m. when the nanny confessed after giving various excuses.
“Halos mamatay yung anak ko. Paano kung wala kami that time? Parehas kaming hindi kaya umuwi ng ganung oras. Paano na lang po yung anak ko? Anim na oras nagtiis yung anak ko bago siya nabigyan ng first aid na una pa lang dapat sinabi niya sa akin kung talagang nagmamalasakit siya sa anak ko,” according to the woman.
The nanny allegedly left after the incident. The nanny they got from an agency had only been with the family for eight months.
GMA Integrated News tried to contact the agency but could not reach their phone number.
“Sana makonsensya ka naman sa ginawa mo sa anak ko. Kung masaya kang nagtatago ngayon, masaya kang nakatakas ka, may batang nagdurusa hanggang ngayon dahil sa ginawa mo,” according to the woman who has already filed a complaint with the San Miguel police against the nanny.
