In a report by GMA News, the said event was part of the annual Palarong Panlalawigan 2025, which at the time is being held in a school in Upi in the said province.

In the video that went viral, the said athlete could be seen walking aimlessly around the landing pit while holding his head before eventually falling to the ground and fainting.

In place of a mattress or cushion, the landing pit is filled with loose soil in a bid to soften the impact of the athletes’ landing.

She then said that she only used the wet wipes on her child once, because the latter came home from daycare with a runny nose.
