A man long wanted for r@pe was arrested by a police asset, whom he was dating.

According to Balitambayan of GMA News, the man was wanted for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old.

He has also been very elusive, and that he actually went into hiding after a case was filed against him in Antipolo, Cainta and Manila areas.

Authorities found out that he was a "party goer," and recently got into a fistfight but did not file a complaint due to an existing warrant of arrest against him.

An informant directed authorities to him and it was then that they had their police asset reach out to him.

She finally got him to agree for a date in Pasig, and that was when the arrest happened.

He is now in Manila Police District's custody.

Meanwhile, a man was arrested after he stole a crown that belongs to a statue of Mama Mary from the church. According to the GMA Regional TV, the suspect also took the chalice and the money from the donation box. He also said that he was tasked by Mama Mary to do what he did. It was later found that the suspect already had previous records.
