Andrea Borcelis got the surprise of her life when she found out that she already has a debt with PhilHealth worth P22,000 even though she only applied for membership with the agency in June.
In 24 Oras' report, as a fresh graduate, she was just starting out, but could not understand how she acquired such debt.
She also said that based on the records of the agency, she was a member since 2014, which was bewildering since she was only 12 years old that year.
Kapuso Action Man sought the response of PhilHealth and a rep said that she was enrolled in 2014 as an indigent, based on the list given by DSWD.

They also explained that her category shifted when she opted for voluntary membership.
Upon checking, instead of P22,000, what she had to pay was only P2,000.
