A policewoman from the Municipality of Rapu-Rapu, Albay, was hailed as a hero after she was able to revive a baby who was not breathing.
Based on the report of Brigada, the policewoman, a Police Corporal, along with members of the Bureau of Fire Protection responded to a call for help concerning the mother who gave birth on the boat.
However, when they arrived, the mother has already given birth, and the baby was not breathing.
The policewoman, who also happens to be a licensed nurse, applied CPR and revived the baby.

Photos of the nurse visiting the mother and the baby at the hospital were also shared by the news outfit.

According to one resident, they helped some of their neighbors by inviting them to stay in the third floor of their house. Floodwaters brought about by Typhoon Kristine have submerged the second floor of some of the houses in Albay.
