According to the report of GMA News, the victim was a 9-year-old and the incident happened in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The victim was also brought to the hospital but later on died.

According to one resident, they helped some of their neighbors by inviting them to stay in the third floor of their house. Floodwaters brought about by Typhoon Kristine have submerged the second floor of some of the houses in Albay.
