Sen. Bong Go, sinabing wala umanong "reward system" sa gyera kontra droga

- Sen. Bong Go has denied the existence of a reward system during the war on drugs

- In a report by GMA News Online, the senator made the statement amid the claims of retired colonel Royina Garma during the HOR Quadcom hearing

- He said that there is no reward system that was implemented in exchange for the life of anyone

- The senator also added that the former President Rodrigo Duterte has stated that his administration never sanctioned nor tolerated such killings

Sen. Bong Go has given his statement on the allegations made by retired colonel Royina Garma during the HOR Quadcom hearings, saying that there was no reward system implemented during the time of former President Rodrigo Duterte in relation to the war on drugs.

In a report by GMA News, the senator said that there was no such system in exchange for the life of anyone.

"Nais kong klaruhin na walang reward system na iniimplementa noon kapalit ang buhay ng sinuman," said the senator.

He also said that the Duterte administration never sanctioned such kinds of killings.

"The former President has stated clearly numerous times that his administration never sanctioned nor tolerated any form of senseless killings," he added.

He also denied any participation in the said war.

"Bilang Special Assistant of the President noon, I have no participation whatsoever, directly or indirectly, in the operational requirements of the war on drugs," he also stated.

In addition, he highlighted that his office had nothing to do with the mentioned war.

"Let me be very clear. Walang kinalaman ang aking opisina sa operasyon at organisasyon ng kapulisan. Hindi rin ako mismo humahawak ng pera ng opisina ng Pangulo dahil hindi yan parte ng mga tungkulin ko noon," the senator said.

Christopher Lawrence Tesoro Go, better known as Bong Go is an incumbent Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He used to serve as the Special Assistant to the President (SAP) when President Duterte ran in the 2016 Elections and Go also became the Head of the Presidential Management Staff until October of 2018.
