Kerwin Espinosa, may pasabog sa Quadcom; ilang kilalang personalidad, idinawit sa rebelasyon

Kerwin Espinosa, a controversial mayoralty candidate and alleged to be linked to some illegal wrongdoings, recently made an explosive revelation at the Congressional “Quad Committee” hearing.

In his testimony, he indicated that he was coerced by some known personalities into pinning down then Senator Leila De Lima.

He dropped the name of a known personality who used to be a high official of the Philippine National Police but now occupies a legislative seat.

The controversial mayoralty candidate alleged that the said PNP official-turned-politician warned him what happened to his father, the late Mayor Rolando Rosal Espinosa, could also happen to him if he doesn’t do what they’re asking.

“Kapag hindi raw ako sumunod sa plano, puwedeng mangyari sa akin ang nangyari sa ama ko,” Kerwin said in an explosive revelation.

The said committee is comprised of four separate committees, namely the Committees on on Dangerous Drugs,Public Order and Safety, Human Rights, and Public Accounts, and is investigating various issues like POGO, drugs, and extra judicial killings.

Previously, Police Lt. Col. Santi Mendoza also testified before the Congressional Quad Committee and volunteered information on his knowledge on the assassination of Atty. Wesley Barayuga. In his signed affidavit, Lt. Col. Mendoza pointed to former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) GM, retired Col. Royina Garma, and Napolcom Commissioner, former police Col. Edilberto Leonardo, as the masterminds. The Congressional QuadCom is a joint committee on Dangerous Drug5, Public Order and Safety, Human Rights, and Public Accountability investigating issues relating to POGO, Guo, and EJK. Lt. Col. Mendoza also detailed what transpired before the grim assassination of the late then PCSO board member, Atty. Wesley Barayuga, a former police general.

In another previous hearing by the House Quad Committee, controversial businesswoman Cassandra Ong also answered questions pertaining to the escape of Alice Guo. She admitted that she left the country through the airport and noted that she only met Alice when they were already in Malaysia. She also openly admitted that she came to know Alice because Wesley is her boyfriend. Cassy also denied being a business partner of Alice Guo.
