In a video shared by GMA News, one can see several arresting officers knocking on the door where Guo was staying.
On opening the door, the authorities declared who they were and arrested the embattled local official.
One can see Guo sitting behind the door as the Indonesian police authorities ask for confirmation if she was "Alice."

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then.
Recently, Guo revealed that she allegedly fled the Philippines because she feared for her life. Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos revealed this during a press conference following their arrival from Indonesia early Friday morning. In the same presscon, the dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor confirmed the statement of Abalos. She also confirmed receiving death threats, and she feels safe being with Philippine authorities.
It can be recalled that when Guo saw DILG Sec. Abalos in Indonesia, she was overheard in a video asking for his help. In the video shared by the Philippine Star, one can clearly hear the exchange of words between Sec. Abalos and Guo. It can be recalled that Sec. Abalos and PNP Chief Rommel Francisco Marbil flew to Indonesia early morning of September 5 to meet with their Indonesian counterpart. This was after news of the arrest in the satellite city of Tangerang in Jakarta, Indonesia of the dismissed local official on spread like wildfire on September 4.
