The assets covered under the recent order of the CA include 10 bank accounts under Quiboloy’s name, 7 real properties, 5 motor vehicles, and one aircraft.
The CA also ordered the freezing of the bank accounts of the operators of Sonshine Media Network International or SMNI, which are the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) and Swara Sug Media Corporation.
In a Rappler news report, it also quoted the CA as saying that it ordered the freeze on the said bank accounts so it wouldn’t be withdrawn or transferred.
“In order to avoid the possibility of the funds in the subject bank accounts and/or properties from being withdrawn, removed, transferred, concealed or placed beyond the reach of law enforcers, this Court finds it appropriate and judicious to issue a 20-day FREEZE ORDER as prayed for by petitioner over said bank accounts,” the CA, as quoted by Rappler, said.
Meanwhile, the Daily Tribune reported that not only Quiboloy’s assets were frozen but those owned by some of his associates as well.
These include bank accounts and assets under the names of Maria Teresita Dandan, Sylvia Cemañes, Marlon Acobo, Paulene Canada, Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Helen Panilag, Alona Santander, Cresente Canada, and the Children’s Joy Foundation Inc.
