A couple and their friend riding a motorcycle met a tragic incident when they tried to avoid a police checkpoint in Caloocan City.

As per a report by "24 Oras Weekend" on GMA, the three decided to go for a motorcycle ride, however, none of them were wearing helmets.
They made a U-turn as they approached a police checkpoint and sped away. The police then noticed and chased them, which led them to the intersection of Dagat-dagatan Avenue.
Despite the red light, the motorcycle continued straight and ended up crashing into a truck.
