As per Unang Hirit’s “Unang Balita” report, the guard was arrested inside the police station in Sta. Ana, Manila, after it appeared in the PNP database that he has a pending arrest warrant in Isabela due to his RA 10591, or Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition case.

Based on the investigation, it was 2013 when the accused was first arrested for pulling out his service firearm inside a club in Isabela.

According to Police Major Philipp Ines, Manila Police District’s Spokesperson, the accused posted bail at the time but was unable to attend the hearing because he thought his case had been dismissed.

Meanwhile, the security guard claimed, "Hindi po ako nagtago. Hindi ko lang po alam na may warrant na. Nag-iintay po ako ng schedule ng hearing, hindi ko lang po siguro alam na may dumating sa bahay namin sa probinsya o na-miss ko lang siguro."
