A 74-year-old Pinay died after she was allegedly pushed by a suspect onto the direct path of an oncoming train in California.

The suspect is said to be a homeless person and has been identified by authorities as Trevor Belmont, who also goes by the alias Hoak Taing.

In a report by TFC News Now, the 74-year-old Pinay, Corazon Dandan, had just come out from her job as a telephone operator at San Francisco’s Parc 55 Hotel in Union Square and was already was waiting for her train ride back home when the alleged incident happened.

According to authorities, Dandan was apparently standing on the train station platform when suddenly, the suspect pushed her while the train was approaching.

Dandan’s head was then allegedly hit by the moving train, causing her to fall onto the platform.

She was rushed to the San Francisco General Hospital but passed away some moments later due to the injuries she sustained.

The suspect was immediately arrested by authorities and charged with murder and elder abuse.

The family of Dandan declined to give statements to the incident as they have yet to come to terms with her death.

Dandan already is at an age where many already is enjoying their retirement, but she has opted to continue working.

A Facebook user shared screengrabs from an FB group featuring a lengthy post made by a member of that group. In that post, the said member narrated her harrowing experience with the city’s “basaan” tradition, which led her to lose the chance to be considered for a job. The heartbreaking story has since then been carried by major news outlets, including Interaskyon.
