As per Radyo Bandera's report, the senator revealed this on Sept. 15, on the basis of the initial report by the NBI.

It can be recalled that the PNP has already conducted its own DNA examination of the skull and bones recovered in Palawan, and they confirmed that it was Jovelyn's.

The PNP results were made known to the family of Jovelyn.

In the killing and assault of the 23-year-old, there are two suspects, Leobert Dasmariñas and Jovert Valdestamon.

Both have undergone a lie detector test to confirm whether they are telling the truth or not.

Jovelyn Gallano is a 22-year-old employee working in a mall in Palawan. She went missing on August 5. According to her sister, her employer said that Jovelyn already signed out from her work around 6:30 p.m. on that day. She was still able to send a message to her sister but she wasn’t able to go home anymore.

Charges will be filed against the two suspects involved in the killing of Jovelyn Galleno. The PNP Forensic Group has already released the DNA examination on the skull and bones found in Palawan. Its spokesperson, during an interview with Radyo Bandera Philippines, revealed that it was indeed Jovelyn. The two suspects in the case of Jovelyn are cousins of the victim, and one of them even showed the authorities the alleged location where they perpetrated the crime.

The results of the DNA examination of the skull and bones that were found in the area indicated by the suspect, Leobert Dasmariñas, are out. As per the PNP, reported by Radyo Bandera Philippines, the DNA examination result confirmed that the skull and skeleton were that of Jovelyn Galleno's. The PNP also showed the DNA result to the family of Jovelyn. It was a 99.9% match with the DNA of Jovelyn's, thereby confirming that the results were that of the victim.
