Ka Leody de Guzman, kinondena ang "tahasang pambabastos" kay Aika Robredo

- Presidential candidate Ka Leody de Guzman took to Twitter to express his indignation over the misogynistic attacks directed against Aika Robredo

- He said that such kind of defamation is akin to the one that was done to Sen. Leila De Lima

- The labor leader also said that the allegations of Atty. Vic Rodriguez that the video also came from the Robredos is absurd

- Eventually, he called on voters to weight platforms and track records of candidates, and to fight lies and obscenity

Ka Leody De Guzman took to Twitter and condemned the attacks that were directed against Aika Robredo, the daughter of VP Leni.

"Kinokondena ko ang tahasang pambabastos kay @aikarobredo sa lumabas na pekeng iskandalosong video," the presidential aspirant tweeted.

In succeeding tweets, he went on to state that the kind of defamation that is being done to Aika right now is akin to the one that was allegedly done to Sen. Leila de Lima.

"Ang ganitong klase ng paninira (na dati nang ginawa kay @SenLeiladeLima) at pagkalat ng pekeng impormasyon ay trademark ng bulok na pulitika ng paksyon ni Marcos Jr. at Duterte, kahit pa sabihing gawa-gawa lamang ito ng kanilang supporter."

Spreading misinformation, he said, was a trademark of rotten politics from the other camp and also regarded as absurd the allegations of Atty. Vic Rodriguez that the video also came from the Robredo camp.

"Bakit nila gagawin ang ganitong kawalang-hiyaan sa kanilang sinusuportahan?"

He then called on voters to weigh the platforms laid down by candidates and to fight lies.

"Turuan ang mga botante na tumimbang sa plataporma at track record ng mga partido't kandidato, imbes na nakatuon sila sa personalismo at sa pansariling kapakinabangan. Labanan ang kasinungalingan, kababuyan, at kababawan!"

Ka Leody de Guzman is a Filipino labor rights activist. He is now running for president in the May 2022 elections.

Presidential aspirant Leody de Guzman, aka Ka Leody, slammed Sen. Imee Marcos for the video about people who work for 18 hours. He said that the sister of Bongbong Marcos did not experience being one of the working class. He also added that she was not taken care of by the usual mother who takes care of her household and works at the same time. It can be recalled that Imee Marcos was featured in a video titled, "Pagod Len Len" where it stated that a person who claims to be working for 18 hours is either a liar or stupid.

Presidential aspirant Leody de Guzman and vice-presidential aspirant Walden Bello recently had a light encounter with several Kakampinks in Iloilo. In a video posted by Laban ng Masa on FB, the Leody-Walden tandem received cheers from the supporters of the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan tandem when they passed by the Kakampinks joining a campaign rally. Ka Leody and Walden likewise posed for pictures with the said Kakampinks.
