Lolo Narding's niece, in an exclusive interview with SMNI, candidly revealed that he was not incarcerated at the Asingan, Pangasinan police station.

The octogenarian was treated well as compared to the stories that are circulating on social media, said his niece.

"Hindi po talaga siya nakakulong sa selda po. Nasa labas po siya, which is the visiting area po. Hindi po siya pinayagan na ipasok sa loob, kasi alam naman po ng mga pulis na matanda na po siya at saka baka po mahawaan din po siya ng sakit dun sa loob, kasi po, crowded na rin po sila dun sa loob. Tas, naaawa po sila."

The niece of Lolo Nardo also said that he could sleep okay since he stays at the visiting area.

The Asingan police also showed the exact area where Lolo Nardo was sleeping.

"Dinala lang nila ako doon. Hindi nila ako inaway o sinaktan doon," Lolo Nardo said.

Previously, in Radyo Pilipinas' report, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Dionardo Carlos said that lolo was not jailed in Asingan, Pangasinan.

The injuries that she sustained denoted that she underwent suffering. Justice was somewhat elusive for Jang and her family back then.
