The video of a semi-outdoor wedding reception in Cebu showing guests enjoying the feast despite getting drenched by strong rains has gone viral.
According to a report by the Cebu Daily News, the reception was held at a resort in Lapu-Lapu, a bustling city on the island of Mactan, famous for its resorts.
In the video, guests can be seen partaking of the feast before them in what appeared to be an outdoor setting amid the heavy downpour.
While they were given umbrellas to shield them from the strong rain, these proved to be ineffective against the downpour.

As the video show, the guests seemed to be drenched, though they continued eating as if nothing is happening.
A voice, which might have belonged to the host of the event, can also be heard telling the guests to continue eating and not to mind the rain.
He also told the guests, particularly the principal sponsors, to make sure they hold on to their umbrellas while eating.
“Ma’am hawak lang po ng mahigpit diyan. Ma’am okay lang kayo diyan, principal sponsors?” he said.
The voice also told them to hold on tight as they might get blown away along with the umbrellas.
“Hawak lang at baka matangay kayo kasama ng payong! Hawak lang talaga! Hawak lang kahit saan!” he told them.
He also egged on the guests to continue eating and never mind the winds or the rain.
“Yes! Patuloy lang sa pagkain kahit parang matatangay na kayo ng hangin kasama ng payong, ang importante busog kayo!” the voice, which might have been belonging to the host, said.
It wasn’t clear if the bride and groom also got drenched by the heavy downpour.
However, they might not have minded the rain as well like their guests who seemed to be enjoy every bit of it.
