"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
TVJ, in a previous episode of "Eat Bulaga," debunked rumors that the show is already going bankrupt. Tito Sotto said that he might even make the prize P10K and would even release a copy of their BIR files. Joey de Leon then interjected that those naysayers are just envious because other shows did not make it to the top 5 longest-running shows in the world. He also made a challenge that if a show could reach 15 years, he would kneel before them.
Earlier, Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna’s baby girl, Mochi, was spotted on “Eat Bulaga” - Pauleen visited the noontime show’s studio along with her daughters, Tali and Baby Mochi. TVJ’s Facebook page later posted adorable photos of Baby Mochi’s first time on “EB.” The photos then garnered numerous likes and positive comments from netizens in no time.
