Liza Soberano’s former talent manager, Ogie Diaz, was accused by some netizens of not doing anything for his talents and just getting commissions from them.
Those accusations surfaced after Liza made a vlog that she separated from Ogie as her talent manager because she could not pursue her own vision for her career while being under his management.
On Facebook, Ogie bravely lectured his bashers by enumerating how difficult it is to be a talent manager.

Aside from mapping the career of the artist and coordinating with people to get new projects and endorsements, Ogie shared that a talent manager also has to fulfill the role of being a second parent and friend to the artist.

Ogie said that a talent manager helps his talents deal with personal and private issues for free. A talent manager also has to find ways to resolve troubles and disputes that the artist gets into, Ogie explained.
“Akala n’yo, madaling mag-manage ng talents? Ay, hindi po. Apakahirap.
Liza Soberano is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. She is currently in a relationship with her on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.
In a previous report, Liza's manager, Ogie Diaz, also gave his statement on the actress' 'This is Me' video which she posted online. Ogie reminded the actress that her screen name, Liza Soberano, is the name that supported her family. He also clarified that contrary to the claims of the actress in her recently posted video, she was given the opportunity to speak as regards the projects she liked and didn't like. In the end, however, Ogie said that he hopes Liza's 'shine' would return.
In a related post, Cristy Fermin, in one of the episodes of Showbiz Now Na, expressed her opinion on the career move of Liza Soberano. The veteran columnist described Liza and her career as “nalaos.“ She also commented that while Liza is a good actress, there are others who are better than her. In addition, Cristy also said that it was Ogie Diaz who actually pushed for the career of the actress, including her endorsements.
