“Maling atake. Maling desisyon,” Manay Cristy said.
She mentioned that indeed Liza is still beautiful, but while she can act, there are still others who can act better than her.
However, it was allegedly because of the work of Ogie that she got to do all the projects she had, including her endorsements.
Ngayon pag nakikita ko si Liza, napapailing na lang ako.
In Manay Cristy’s words, Liza is “sayang na sayang.”
“Sayang. Sayang na sayang. At saka ano. Sorry po sa salitang bibitiwan ko. Pero totoo. Ang lamig-lamig na talaga ng career ni Liza Soberano. Maganda pa rin siya. Naaalala pa rin siya ng kanyang mga tagahanga. Pero, masakit pong tanggapin iyong salita, pero nalaos siya,” Manay Cristy said.
Liza Soberano is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. She is currently in a relationship with her on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.
In an earlier episode of Cristy Ferminute, Manay Cristy said she feels the statement of Ogie Diaz regarding her former talent, Liza Soberano. While the veteran columnist said she felt sorry for Liza, Manay Cristy said she understands where Ogie is coming from as Liza's former manager. She also counted herself among those who felt sorry for the present career of Liza, particularly when she learned, as Ogie himself revealed, that there are projects pitched to the actress and her onscreen and real-life boyfriend, Enrique Gil, which they both disapproved of.
On the part of Liza, she recently posted a lengthy vlog where she gave some updates about her life. In the 14-minute video, the actress courageously shared her reflections on her career. She likewise explained why she decided to sign with James Reid’s record label, Careless. The 25-year-old actress added that she has embarked on a new chapter where she can finally be herself.
