Cristy Fermin was not convinced by the alleged reason of Rayver Cruz and Janine Gutierrez’s breakup – having no time for each other.

In her column on Pilipino Star Ngayon, Nanay Cristy called the said reason “sobrang babaw”.
“Hindi kami naniniwala sa dahilang wala na silang oras sa isa’t isa, sobrang babaw nu’n, dahil kung gusto ay may paraan at kung ayaw ay maraming dahilan.”
“Hindi pa lang nagsasalita sina Rayver at Janine, naghihintay pa sila sa tamang pagkakataon, pero siguradong may mas malalim na pinaghuhugutan ang kanilang hiwalayan.”

Nanay then went on to pen, “Mas kapani-paniwala pa nga ‘yung katwiran na isang araw ay nagising na lang sila na hindi na pala sila masaya. Nagkapatung-patong na pala ang mga senar¬yong nagpalabnaw sa kanilang relasyon.”
“Pero hindi pa rin ‘yun ipinanganak nang biglaan, unti-unti ‘yun na naipon nang naipon, hanggang sa sumabog na ang bulkan.”
According to ABS-CBN News, a source close to the former couple confirmed that Rayver and Janine have already broken up after four years of dating.
“They haven’t seen each other for a long time because of the lock-in tapings,” the source told ABS-CBN.
As per Manila Bulletin, rumors about their split started circulating after the actor deleted pictures showing Janine on his social media account.
Cristy Fermin is among the most prominent Filipino entertainment columnists and talk show hosts. She is well-known for their frank commentaries on different showbiz.
In Cristy Ferminute’s episode on Wednesday, November 17, the veteran columnist said that a source told her about Rayver’s alleged goal to settle down and start his own family very soon. Nanay Cristy furthermore said her source also shared with her that Rayver was allegedly planning to propose to Janine.
Cristy and Lolit Solis previously had a quick interview with entertainment editor Salve Asis. Salve asked the two veteran columnists the reactions to being called "lider ng mga Marites." Nanay Cristy then hilariously bragged about them being called “leaders” instead of “followers”.
