Alice recently shared the story behind the viral video during her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Monday, October 27. According to the actress, the memorable moment was never planned as a gathering of the three women who had played the same character.

What started as a simple invitation to Marian eventually turned into an unexpected collaboration when Anne learned about their plans backstage.

Alice recalled that she had asked Marian to participate in a TikTok dance challenge featuring the song “Oohh Lala Baby” by Baby Dolls. Since Marian was willing to join, they agreed to make the video together.

“I'm like, 'Okay, let's do that,' because she's game to do that. And then backstage, bago kami lumabas, siguro we had a few minutes before we got introduced as judges, and Anne was there, and she said, 'What are you girls talking about? Ano'ng pinag-uusapan n'yo?' Gusto niya makialam and I said, 'Magti-TikTok kami, bakit? Gusto mo sumali?' And then she said, 'Yeah, okay. Ano'ng gagawin?'” Alice shared.

Anne's participation added another unexpected element to the encounter. Rather than simply joining the two actresses, she also took the lead in teaching them the choreography for their planned dance video.

The three eventually filmed the challenge, resulting in a clip that gained attention online. However, Alice admitted that she initially did not recognize the significance of having all three Dyesebel actresses together in one video.

It was her business coordinator, Reneselle, who noticed the unusual coincidence before Alice uploaded the clip to her social media account.

“'Yung business coordinator ko na si Reneselle is the one who said, 'Three Dyesebels.' And I said, 'Oh my God, oo nga.' She was the one who parang unlocked the door, and I'm like, I didn't realize it also na that was the scenario,” sabi ni Alice.

The realization made the video even more memorable, considering the actresses' individual connections to the well-known fictional character.

Alice first portrayed Dyesebel in the 1990 Regal Films adaptation. Marian later took on the role in a GMA television series in 2008, while Anne headlined a primetime series featuring the mermaid character in 2014.

Although the three actresses played Dyesebel in separate productions and different years, their unexpected backstage encounter brought them together in a single video.

What initially began as a casual dance challenge with no particular intention of celebrating their shared television and film history eventually became a viral moment that highlighted their connection to one of Philippine entertainment's recognizable fictional characters.
