Isabelle Daza shared how a simple attempt to buy from a woman named Catherine turned into an opportunity to extend support to a fellow Filipino.

In a video posted on Instagram, Isabelle was seen speaking with Ate Catherine about what she was selling.

The actress wanted to purchase something from her, but she did not have cash on hand.

Isabelle then offered to send the payment digitally through GCash or Maya. However, she soon learned that Catherine did not have a working cellphone.

During their conversation, Catherine explained that her phone had been damaged after it fell during the flooding.

“Wala kang cellphone?” Isabelle asked in the video before learning what had happened to the device.

The actress later gave more context about their encounter in the caption of her Instagram post.

“This morning I wanted to buy and support ate Catherine but I didnt have cash on hand so I asked her if I could transfer to her via digital pay but she didnt have a cell phone,” Isabelle wrote.

She added, “It fell into the floodwater…”

Instead of ending the interaction there, Isabelle looked for another way to support Catherine.

In the video, she also encouraged people who might be in the area to buy from and support the woman.

The celebrity then explained what had recently inspired her to reach out to fellow Filipinos in this way.

According to Isabelle, she has been watching content from Jimmy Darts, a social media personality known for videos centered on helping people.

“Ive been so inspired recently watching @jimmydarts and I wanted to do the same for our kababayans,” she shared.

“Its all thanks to you guys that I am able to help and there is no better feeling in the world,” she said.
