Jhong then revealed the small moment that apparently helped break the ice between them.

Maia confirmed the story before Jhong added, “And the rest is history.”

The interviewer then learned that the two have already been together for 15 years.

When asked about the secret to their long relationship, Jhong gave a lighthearted answer.

“Lots of fighting,” he said.

Maia agreed and described it as making their relationship “more exciting.”

The conversation also turned to what they appreciate most about each other.

For Maia, it is the small and thoughtful gestures Jhong continues to make for their family. She explained that even when he goes out to eat with coworkers or friends, he makes sure to bring something home for her and their daughter, Sarina.

“We know he's always thinking of us, even if he's away, even if he can't have dinner with us,” she shared.
