In an Instagram post, the actress looked back on both the good and difficult moments she has gone through. She said a person's life cannot be defined only by the happy moments that others see.
“No amount of color and smiles can ever tell the full story of a person's life. There are the black and whites, all the shades of gray, and everything in between,” Iza wrote.
She then shared how she has been learning to accept every part of her journey, including the moments that were far from perfect.

“And I'm learning to embrace all of it. The beautiful, imperfect, even broken parts of my life and being, because in every inch of it lies the grace of God,” she added.
Faith was also a central part of Iza's birthday reflection.
The actress expressed gratitude to God as she acknowledged the experiences she has faced throughout her life.
“His love has carried me, healed me, and brought me here. And truly, it is a blessed birthday. Sa dami ng pinagdaanan ko sa buhay,” she wrote.
Despite those challenges, Iza celebrated the fact that she continues to enjoy and appreciate life.
“I'm still here! Living, loving, laughing, and syempre, dancing,” she added.
