Bianca De Vera and Dustin Yu are officially taking their DustBia love team to the big screen with their first solo movie together, Ba't 'Di Na Lang Tayo? under Regal Entertainment.

The surprise announcement came after the pair successfully held their fancon, DustBia Love, Actually, where they delighted supporters with the confirmation of their upcoming project. The film, written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, is slated for release later this year.
For Bianca, the project is particularly meaningful because it fulfills something she and Dustin had been hoping for long before the movie became a reality.

“But this time it’s different because it’s going to be my first time to be working with Regal,” Bianca shared.
The actress also expressed her appreciation for how warmly Regal Entertainment welcomed her into the company, especially since Dustin had already established a connection with the studio through previous projects, including Shake, Rattle, & Roll.
“Siyempre alam ko naman na si Dustin is a Regal baby so sobrang natuwa lang ako when it was pitched to us and when we were doing workshops.”

Bianca's excitement grew even more after reading the film's script. She revealed that she became so invested in the story that she finished it in just one sitting while she was in La Union.
“Because I also think itong pelikulang ito, nung binabasa ko yung script naalala ko parang tinapos ko siya ng isang upuan.”
“We were in La Union, kasama ko pa yung mga handler ko and tapos sobrang invested ko to the point na natapos ko siya agad.”

Beyond the movie itself, Bianca credited their DustBia supporters for playing an important role in their journey. She pointed to the fans' continued dedication, particularly through the pair's previous projects, their recent fancon, and now their upcoming film.
“If there was one thing that I admire most about them, feeling ko, yung paninindigan nila.”
“Because Dustin and I always talk about how it’s not easy being in their shoes.”
“It’s hard.”
“But then, kahit na anong obstacles yung binato sa kanila, talagang they still manage to get through it.”
“So I would say that we wouldn’t be where we are today kung wala sila.”
“Talagang sila yung backbone namin.”
“Sila talaga yung lakas namin and we’re very. very blessed to have them.”
“And hindi fans ang turing namin sa kanila, parang ang tingin namin sa kanila part of the family.”
“So I guess I would say, we’re doing all of this together,” she explained.
With Ba't 'Di Na Lang Tayo?, Bianca and Dustin are set to enter a new stage as a love team through their first solo movie together. The project brings their on-screen partnership into a full-length film while also giving Bianca her first project with Regal Entertainment.
The movie is expected to arrive in cinemas later this year.

The two first crossed paths at a club before either had established a career in showbiz. Bianca recalled feeling uncomfortable when a foreign man approached her, prompting Esnyr to step in and help her out of the situation. She said the incident eventually brought them closer and even played a role in the creation of Esnyr’s popular “Bogart” character.
