Ogie Diaz addressed the end of his professional relationship as the manager of Aiko Melendez through a statement that was featured on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, August 12.

In his statement sent to the “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” team, Ogie described the end of a manager-talent relationship as a normal occurrence and emphasized the importance of preserving their friendship despite the change in their professional setup.
“Normal yan sa manager-talent relationship. And Kuya Boy knows that bilang pareho kaming manager. Importante, i-save ang friendship.”
Ogie also wished Aiko well as she continues to pursue her goals in both politics and showbiz, while assuring her that he remains willing to offer advice whenever she needs it.

“I wish her good luck sa direksyong gusto niya sa kanyang political career and showbiz career as well. Andito lang naman ako 'pag kailangan ng advice, hindi tayo maramot sa aspetong yan.”
He further explained that he is happy when a talent is happy with a decision, even if it means ending their professional partnership.
“'Pag happy ang talent sa kanyang desisyon, mas happy ako dapat dahil naibigay ko yung happiness na gusto ng talent. Good luck, Aiko!”
